Huntington Beach State Park

Great beach location and especially that the beach is dog friendly!

This campground was wonderful. There were a couple glitches, but hopefully it was just specific to this visit and won't prevent us from returning. We picked this specific site because of its proximity to the beach

We were given a wifi password, but if there was wifi, we never found it, no matter where we were in the park. Verizon signal was great though.

Also, the site we camped on (#27) was a bit infested with ticks and mosquitoes. Unless you plan on staying inside, I would advise you to avoid this site (an any of the wooded sites) at all costs.

Great bike trails that were flat; could ride bikes to Murrells Inlet for lunch and ice cream. Low key area with grocery near by. If you are a nature lover, this is a park for you. Bring your camera and binoculars for the birds and alligators. A wagon would be helpful to go to the beach. The beach was very nice and the wooden walkway to get there was nice as well. The walkway offers shower heads and foot sprayers to clean off when returning from the beach.

Definitely one of the best state parks in South Carolina and we will return!
